Fatalities caused by falls from elevations continue to be the leading cause of death for construction employees. In 2015, 350 of 937 construction fatalities were recorded from falls (BLS data). All of these deaths were preventable. OSHA’s National Fall Protection Stand-Down raises awareness about fall hazards across the country in an effort to stop fall injuries and deaths.

SCATS has conducted three to five Fall Protection Stand-downs each year over the past three years with many companies in the State of Nevada.
