NV1030.org is being updated for "AB 190" General Industry Requirements

Over the next few weeks, you will be seeing changes to the NV1030.org website.  Recent legislative action in the form of AB 190 created a training requirement for specific workers in the entertainment industry.  They will be required to complete the OSHA 10 Hour (non-supervisory) or 30 Hour (supervisory) General Industry course.  As a result, NV1030.org will now list 10 & 30 Hour General Industry trainers as well as Construction trainers.  The final site roll out will be well in advance of the January 1, 2018 implantation of the bill.  For more information on who is required to be trained see our article “Mandatory 10/30 Hour Safety and Health Course for the Entertainment Industry”.

The Safety Consultation and Training Section (SCATS) Provides 10 and 30 hour General Industry and Construction classes free of charge.  For a schedule of classes or to sign-up for one of the classes go to www.4safenv.state.nv.us  or call 877.472.3368.
