The Safety Consultation and Training Section (SCATS) announced this month that as of 07/01/19, the eight dollar fee for OSHA 10/30 cards issued through SCATS has been eliminated.
The cost of OSHA classes provided by SCATS have always been free of charge, but the fee charged by the Outreach Training Centers for the production of the cards was passed on to class participants. The elimination of the fee was directed by Ray Fierro, Administrator of the Division of Industrial Relations (DIR).
OSHA 10/30 cards are required for workers on construction sites, entertainment workers and tradeshow workers. For specific requirements please see section 618 of the Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) or call your local SCATS office.
DIR and SCATS are continuously working to improve their shared mission of protecting the working men and women of Nevada and making this important training available at no cost exemplifies this charge.
SCATS can answer your question on this and many other safety related topics for free. For more information visit our Training page or call 877-472-3368.
